Welcome to the website for the British Isles South District Church of the Nazarene
We are a church in the Wesleyan tradition, with 30-40 local congregations around England and Wales. Our District is part of the global Nazarene network, which is present in over 125 countries. There are links below that will enable you to connect with our local churches, and explore our global network.
As a District, we run conferences, holidays, mission trips, and youth events, all with the aim of encouraging and inspiring our local churches to be the healthiest they can be. We also have a Theological college in Manchester that provides excellent graduate and postgraduate courses, grounded in Wesleyan theology.

Our Churches
Explore the map to find local Nazarene churches across England and Wales.
You will find that, with a few exceptions, our churches are in industrialised urban areas, with a mixture of town and city centre congregations, and those embedded within a specific housing estate or local community. These congregations are often culturally diverse, and with a healthy spread of ages; hopefully illustrating a cross-section of the community within which they are placed. Generally, you will find that we have less of an emphasis on image and performance, and are instead focused on consistently, and with integrity, serving the communities within which we are placed.
